All front-wheel drive models come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission and 2.4-litre Tigershark® MultiAir® I-4 engine. All models offer 180 maximum horsepower with 175 lb-ft of torque and up to 2,000 pounds of towing capacity. For those looking for all-wheel drive, the Compass has available nine-speed automatic transmission, as well. The Compass 4x4 systems offer Selec-Terrain® Traction Management System, featuring sand/mud, snow, and automatic settings, sending up to 100 percent of available torque to any one wheel at a time, so that you can tackle even the toughest conditions.
